Our Learning
2025 - 2026
Summer term 1
As usual we have been spending alternate Tuesday mornings visiting the library to listen to stories, do finger rhymes and play some games. The children always enjoy their visit. And also going down to Forest school to climb, swing and explore.
We have been busy cooking on Wednesday afternoons making fruit kababs, chocolate rice crispy cakes and banana muffins.
We have also been really lucky to have a visit from Bluebell the lamb. The children loved seeing the lamb and being able to pet her.
We have been reading the book 'Farmer duck and the children enjoyed playing with the small world play linked with it.
On the last week of this half term we made links with our local toddler group and the reception class by having a teddy bears picnic. The weather was wet but we didn't let that stop us. We met in the school under our covered outside area and opened up the pre-school room. It was so nice to see so many children and they were lucky enough to receive a teddy bear biscuit, kindly donated by the village bakery.
