Summer term 2

Wow, summer holidays are nearly here and what a busy summer term it has been, We have had a lamb come to visit and the coastguard. The local toddler group has also joined us and reception for a teddy bear's picnic. The children have enjoyed forest school, and regular trips to the library. There has been a preschool sports day , loved by both children and parents.

Our children progressing into reception class have had stay and play sessions with their new teacher, a trip on the Swanage steam railway followed by a picnic and arts and craft, and of course they also got ice-creams.

During the hot weather we worked hard to keep our children cool. We had water sprinklers for them to run through, ice in their water bottles, fans, ice creams and quiet time lying on the floor.

We have said goodbye to the children moving up to school at a small leavers service and wished them lots of luck for the future.

We are all looking forward to the summer break and welcoming the children back for a fresh start in September.
