Spiritual Growth

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

1 Peter 4:10

Spiritual Development:

In autumn 2022, the whole school visited Salisbury Cathedral to engage in a day of understanding spirituality. As a school, we have begun our journey of understanding what this means to us individually and as a school community.

We are starting our journey by understanding windows, mirrors and doors.

Spring 2023:

We now need to spend time unpicking what spirituality means to us as a school, led by the children, to help ensure that we are engage in developing our spiritual selves and understanding what makes us spiritual - this is not a religious aspect but helps us all understand ourselves more and what makes us individual in our preferences and choices in life. This spiritual growth will help children (and adults) understand the value and importance of individualism and embrace our differences more. The children’s playground designs will help to shape a reflective space outside and there are plans to change and develop the library. Here at Corfe we want to embrace spiritual development through the use of windows, mirrors and doors.
