PTFA
Parents, Teachers & Friends Association
Corfe Castle Primary School’s PTFA is open to everyone. Even if you are unable to attend formal meetings, you can still be involved in a range of activities that make such a difference to school life.
We aim to hold one meeting every month in the school’s meeting room.
We hold an AGM early in the Autumn Term where we elect the main committee members for the year. Please contact the school office if you are interested in becoming part of our school PTFA.
The aims of the PTFA are: to engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it, including social and fund raising events and to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school.
The PTFA raises funds to meet the costs of equipment and expenses which are not covered by the school budget. These funds are directed to help the children in their education and to provide the fun events, activities and equipment that would otherwise not be possible.
The PTFA organises events such as the Summer Fete, Christmas Fair, Discos, Quiz Nights and Cake Sales and uses the funds raised to pay for such things as playground equipment, coaches for educational trips and an annual Christmas Party Day with a visit and gifts from Father Christmas!
If you would like to get involved with the PTFA in any way please contact us for more information.
Leavers Hoodies
Every year the PTFA buy all the Year 6 children named hoodies as leavers presents.
