Our Learning

2025 - 2026

Autumn 1

This half-term, on a Tuesday morning we have ventured out into the community, either down to the Forest School or to the local library (these have been on alternate weeks).

In our Forest School Time, we have been swinging on ropes, climbing on scramble nets, investigating the plants and animals around us and enjoying the mud!

When visiting the library, we have been read to by a local parishioner, normally Inge Squirrel, who has shared some wonderful stories and rhymes. The children then get time to explore the books.

Further community activities have included: visiting the castle and walking around the local area.

Most recently, the children joined in with the primary aged children for our harvest festival. It was a joy to see them shine when said their rhyme and shared their pictures. They continue to grow in confidence, and these opportunities support this growth and development.

We look forward to another busy half-term as we prepare for Christmas.
