Our Learning
2025 - 2026
Spring 1
This half term we had more lovely visits to the library on Tuesday mornings. They always read lovely stories to us before selecting books and finishing the session with a rhyme.
Our visits to forest school have been really muddy, this means that the children have really enjoyed themselves splashing through deep puddles and getting very muddy.
In our outside class room some of the children have explored how to make simple dams to stop the flow of water. Following the children's interest in water we have explored things which float and sink, encouraging the children to mark make their results.
More recently we have been doing activities related to the lunar new year linking it with Chinese celebrations. The children have had noodles and prawn crackers for snack, looked at traditional Chinese clothes, practiced doing dragon dances and mad lucky bags.
